[SWLUG] Anglo-welsh relations in the modern day

(First of all, this is my first reply to a mailing list, so apologies if 
ive done it wrong).

Ive noticed exactly what you mention. Ive been called "English Scum" by 
a certain individual in high school, albeit nothing violent. Perhaps it 
was just a light-hearted joke, but it was still pretty offensive.

Other than that, a number of people from college joke about that sort of 
thing. It is something to frown apon, but shouldnt really be a factor of 
whether or not to stay in the country - no matter where you are, you 
will get someone who finds something offensive to say.

Even with such offensive people, it would not be fair to judge the 
entire welsh population from it - generally, people here have been very 
good.
