Just for once I've had the time to follow a very interesting discussion. Can anyone tell me why Zen is better than my favourite, Demon.

2Mb/s
No download limits
Support used to be brilliant but the people in Bombay don't seem to understand S Wales somehow. But having said that support is usually quick and mostly ok.
£25 / month for Static Ip or £20/month dynamic

Terry

Thanks for all the recommendations. I've decided to go with the Zen
Home1000 which is currently unlimited and when the limits come in
they'll be 20GB a month which seems reasonable to me.

My reasoning was thus:

1) a number of people here like them enough to actually recommend them.
2) ADSLGuide doesn't have anything to bad to say about them.
2) I actually know a couple of network techies at Zen.
3) They offer Draytek routers which is another good sign of technical
competence.
3) Static IP by default.
4) 30 quid a month is within my budget.

My final really stupid reason is that they are based just down the road
from where I grew up.

Cheers,
Huw
