[SWLUG] Another new person!

Hi All,

Although I have been lurking on this list for a couple of years and make 
the odd, very infrequent post I've never properly introduced myself.

I'm not involved in any open source projects  as such but I am an avid 
user of the Linux OS. I still consider myself a newbie. I've setup a 
couple of redhat 9 servers and more recently a Fedora lamp/dns server.

I too use Ubuntu, I've installed it on the old IBM PIII Thinkpad  at 
home. Upgraded from Breezy to Dapper recently and now the 3com pcmcia 
network card is really problematic. It seems that I have to do an ifdown 
eth0 ifup eth0 before I can get connected to the net.
