I tried Ubuntu (both an install and Live CD's) on a couple of
different machines. I never managed to get it to connect to
anything (seemed to be having trouble with my LAN cards).
When I explained the symptoms to the developers they were
just as baffled, especially as I've got quite common RealTek
cards.
