[SWLUG] photo corrections help

again, thanks to all who replied, i've been trying a few things, however, i 
found that in both gwenview and gimp (colours-auto-equalise) the result left 
a lot to be desired - i did have attachments to illustrate but the swlug 
server complained the mail was too big  - i could spend some time trying to 
tweak the colours individually on each photo but i can't seem to get rid of 
the blotchiness that the process seems to cause/bring out,  i prefer the 
blue version to that. the blotchiness makes the investment of time (a lot of 
photos to adjust) too much.
