901 is/was the daddy of netbooks IMHO. had hackability to go with it.
still love mine to bits and use it very regularly. less so the 701,
but it depends on how packed my rucksack is :)
the only thing to consider is size vs portability, unless you want to
run hackintosh distros (i think the Dell model was good for that.)
the problem seems to be that netbooks are slowly becoming bog standard
cheap laptops... increasing in size, which is why i've stuck with the
901 for so long.
