[SWLUG] Not-for-profit formalisation?

My feelings are that I rather like the unstructured organisation of the lug.
It has, for me, a real open source feel. Nobody is stricly in charge, things
just have to get general consensus to get done or you just go ahead and do
it.

I think a more formalised structure would spoil it, but that's just my
opinion. I deal with enough commitees, boards and organisations to not want
to spend extra time in them.

I don't know about a geek's drinking club, but I view it as more a geek
social meet.
