Well, crap is a relative thing in the case of the vega.

sure the viewing angle is more limited that some other devices (that are
twice the price), and its different in different directions.   side to
side angle is limited if your using it in portrait mode. but in the
normal landscape mode its fine, the kids can sit either side of me and
we can all play games and watch videos.

there are videos showing the viewing angles on youtube if you really
care to look.

i use mine pretty much every day, for browsing the web whilst sat in
front of the telly, and playing various games with the kids.

next time i drag myself along to a meeting i will bring it.
