Sadly, yes. If you don't read soemthing that you "ought" to have read, or
don't know something that the law expects you to know, then you can be sued
in many cases. Ignorance of the law/conditions is no defence in these cases.
Mind you, enforcing this outside England and Wales could be tricky, tho' there
is probably something agreed with Scotland and Northern Ireland.
