I agree their should be an option for HTTPS for those wishing to use it and
I can see in the not too distant future it being the norm. There is talk
that HTTP 2.0 may be encrypted only, and IPv6 supports encryption in
protocol.

At this point GitHub Pages, which is where the SWLUG site is hosted,
doesn't support HTTPS.
