[Swlug] DevOps/SysAdmin position at Cardiff Uni

Hi all,

We've currently got an opening for a Linux DevOps/SysAdmin position at 
Cardiff Uni:

Salary is £42-49k, with a nice benefits package, including 37 days 
holiday (but you have to use 3 to 4 days a year from that for the 
fortnight Chrismas shutdown).  A reasonable defined benefits pension.  
35 hour week.

It's a nice relaxed place to work by and large.  There's no expectation 
for you to work over your hours and there's not generally lots of 
overtime required.

The job description suffers a bit from the normal kind of fluff that 
public sector jobs seem to have.  So broadly speaking (as I understand 
it) we need a experienced Linux DevOps/SysAdmin who can help with 
virtualising the school infrastructure and providing support for things 
like OpenStack and OpenShift.  Someone who can pick things up without 
any hand holding basically.  There is mention of Mac and Windows, but I 
don't think you'd actually have anything much to do with that.
