I have Raspbian Buster running on an Asus e410ma. I just tried to set up the seriel port so I can access the infamous USB GPS mouse with the instructions given here...https://www.abelectronics.co.uk/kb/article/1035/serial-port-setup-in-raspberry-pi-os

On the control panel menu I get solely an option for setting up SSH, which is not needed on my laptop. How can I work around this? I have the GPS mouse working on Linux Mint. I'm sure it'd work a treat on my Raspberry Pi but I'm doing things differently. I do not have putty installed on the e410.
The aim is to get the GPS mouse running on my in-car laptop (it runs on my house laptop) so I can get some sample output to work with before programming the actual Raspberry Pi.
