[Swlug] Mint v Chromium

I discovered a while ago that Chromium is behind most of my Linux Mint crashes. Usually it seemed to crash Mint about once a week. Then I found closing Chromium every few hours seems to solve the problem and managed to keep Mint running for 22 days until today. Today the system went into hibernation and just would not wake up. I had to do a hard reset. That was very disappointing - I was going for a month of uptime on my laptop.

Aside from the obvious - using something else instead of Chromium, is there any way to get Mint not to crash when Chromium throws a wobbly? I wonder how much of Google is behind is behind the buggy bits.

Mint is Uma 20.3
Chromium is v 102.0.5005.61
