[Swlug] Looking for a software suggestion

Thanks. I've just downloaded Obs-Studio on my other laptop. I have two laptops - one used for video, development and writing only. The other is my general laptop. Both run Mint Uma.

I managed within minutes to combine my webcam, a webpage and filled the space left with a picture. I can see that picture space could well be used to carry some text. I didn't record anything yet because it was just a quick test but it looks very promising.

As the camera on the laptop seems to be VGA, I'm limited to VGA output. I'm eagerly awaiting the time somebody comes out with a 1080p or 4K webcam that makes full use of USB C. Anyway  the VGA camera works well as a camera for the top right of the image.

I'll have to make a trial video with it tomorrow.
