Today I paid a very rare visit to Barnes & Noble. Wow! What a difference - the store was bright and airy but the computer book stock was two feet of one shelf. It was mostly Python, Excel and books about hacking into secure systems. The magazine section was another shocker. There were maybe 4 Linux magazines, a maker magazine and a MagPi. No Windows, Apple or Android magazines.
Needless to say, since I rarely ever see a bookshop, I picked out 4 magazines to take home. After I picked myself up from the floor having heard the price, I paid my $74 and went home still stunned that 4 magazines cost half a morning's wages.
I surely can't be the only person that prefers books to the e-versions?
I did manage to get the book on transistors that I needed and ended up getting my morse flasher working using a ready-made buck converter, ATTiny13A and a darlington transistor. It certainly looked better than my original Raspberry Pi Pico setup. It also works better though
my software implementation is still in beta.
