It seems that there is almost 400Kb less in /opt/var/lib/mysql all of a sudden.

Anyone been doing anything that might have caused it ?

I logged in.
I noted that /usr/local/bin/ became mode 700 - although I have not logged
for a while ... it might have happened some time ago.

I noticed that /etc/samba/smbpasswd had changed ... the contents seemed to be the
same as was backed up on 24th. I removed an empty line that was in the file.

/opt/var/lib/mysql/smf Seems to contain less than it did on 24th ???
