My pleasure - I am glad we both got lucky with this. I forgot to
mention that the netbook's webcam also works well in Fedora 16.

One thing I would do differently next time is to use a 32-bit
distribution of Linux, not the native x86_64 code. I think Simon
explained the issue earlier in the thread, while there are two or
three minor bugs in the x86_64 version of Fedora 16 that affected us.
