Yes. I've got accelerated X, though, using the dri-mach64 patches to X. Xv 
still doesn't work, but I use mplayer's xvidix video output anyway...

Also, mplayerxp doesn't have mencoder, and that's part of my grand 
make-dvds-into-vcds plan.

What's the best way to turn an arbitrary downloaded movie file into a VCD, 
people? mencvcd doesn't seem to work all that well...
