Ah, but what about if you're using it as an email/file server?

Probably sensible to run some sort of AV check (Bitdefender do one as a 
freebie for non-commercial use or you could use summat like ClamAV.. 
ClamAV actually found a virus that an up to date AVG (for windows) didn't 
find, which was nice...)

And of course, chkrootkit and tripwire and.....
