Hi. I reckon...

...should be of some use. There seems to have been some problems with
xvideo in the past so you probably just have outdated drivers.
Failing that, have you inserted(or at least uncommented):
Load "extmod"
In your XF86Config-4 file? (This IIRC is what enables xv)
