[Wolves] Do you use normalisation?

Hello folks,

I have been using MySQL the last 4 or so years, and in
that time I rarely follow the formal rules for
normalisation and referential integrity. Do you lot
follow the formal rules?

When I am developing a database, the issues of
seperating data across tables seems to come fairly
easily and hence I have never followed the rules, but
I would be interested to hear what you all do.
