[Wolves] Opening files in Open Office

Hi folk

I know this sounds like a silly question, but how do I
open files that are on a CD from open office. If I go
to file and open which directory will show the
contents of the CD, or a floppy drive? I can open a CD
or Floppy from the icons on the desktop but thats all.
