To connect more than one PC to Smoothwall on the
secure green interface (ie your LAN), it will help to
have a network switch or hub to plug them all into
otherwise you will have to mess with connection
sharing.

To network Windows and Linux, you need Samba installed
on your Linux machine. You can ask more questions
about this when you get to it. If it's not already
installed it should be on your disks or the ftp site
you installed from.

Basically you mount a remote filesystem as you would a
CD drive or floppy using something like

mount -t smbfs //windowsipaddress/share
/localmountpoint

you may also need to add the option

-o
username=windowsusername,password=windowsuserpassword

after -t smbfs. Using real windows usernames and
passwords of course.
