I can't understand why you don't either run office in wine or just stick
doze on an old box and vnc into it.

I used to have word running on codeweavers wine when I needed to run it
now OOo does everything I need. 

I always vnc into jennies box it saves walking that ten foot between my
aptop and her machine ;-)
