I for one would be quite happy to have LUGRadio recording. I think the
"meetings" are rowdy enough that nothing can really disturb them :-) However,
I think it should be on the condition that Aq's yearly rendition of the
Gorilla
joke be recorded for posterity ;-)

There's my opinion anyway.

£99 for xeon 2.4 with onboard U160 SCSI ! (a SCSI motherboard on its own would cost more than this). There was an option to add a second processor, but it was about £300 to do this.

I purchased 2, upgraded them both to 2.8 Xeon for an extra £20 each, postage was expensive though, at about £50 per server ! Total cost was about £390 inc. VAT and delivery for the 2.

thanks for posting this on here, I wouldn't have known about this otherwise, nice one :)

Gary

I'm going to try hard to get to this meeting & wouldn't have a problem with
the recording at all personally.

It'd be a shame if it kept anyone away though.

I really don't see the problem with a LUG Radio
recording, in fact I think it would be pretty cool.
However I go with Fizz in that if it means thats
Sparkes won't go then I think it's a bad idea.

Either way, I have nothing useful to say on LUG Radio,
as previously demonstrated :)

Be aware how difficult this is to comment on for
people.
