Last nite i knackered my windoze install on this machine, so i thought sod it
i'll have a purely linux system.

SO finally im now running debian sarge, net installed it over night and it
seems to be working fine, except X was 800x600 but thats fixed, and i dont
have permission to use the sound card so i'll fix that later.

It appears a fair bit quicker than i've seen before, oh and the install was
really simple (i was in a rush so most of it is the default setup, but it
works and works well)
