BUT it has a battery life of 2 hours and is only usable for 1 hour

backlight shuts down to save power. My wife recently had an Apple iBook 
which works

for more than 4 hours. She is using OS X but it will run Debian as 
reported here recently.

The downside is that packages tend to come out for Intel first.
