[Wolves] Monitor Upgrade

Hi 

I want to upgrade my monitor but alas I can't afford
the TFT sort too expensive, and I am not sure how well
they work with Linux.
I am thinking of upgrading to a Viewsonic E70f+SB or
E72f +SB CRT monitor. Any thoughts on it? or
alternatives?
