There are many ppc-linux distros, mandrake, suse,
yellow-dog (which is based on fedora and is produced
by terrasoft who are an official mac reseller), debian
etc etc plus netbsd and openbsd, but not freebsd (odd
that seeing as MacOSX has a large amount of FreeBSD
heritage). You can also run MacOSX (obviously) and
Darwin (the OSX kernel but with the fancy graphics
removed and a standard Xwindows system instead). I
have also heard rumours of an OpenSolaris ppc port but
seeing as OpenSolaris is still only available for any
platform in theory dont hold your breath.

There is an article about running Linux/NetBSD on the
Mac Mini here:-

Which implies that audio is a problem.

Windows XP will not run natively but you can get
virtual pc which allows you to run windows within an
emulator (kind of like vmware I think), it has a
reputation of being slow, but usable if you need to.
