We got our Heinz dog (57 varieties) about 4 years ago when Kim and I
were getting divorced...we didn't in the end and it's a long, long
story.  But, Bon-bon (our youngest named her because she thought she
was sweet) or as I call her Spot, still cries if I am not in.  She
knows the sound of my car and gets very excited when I pull up.  I'll
sit down in the chair and she immediately leaps onto my lap.  Bear in
mind she is the size of a small Collie/German Shepard and it's no
light weight to land in your lap.  She'll also lie flat on her back
like a baby in my arms.  Plus, she's very, very obedient.  We love her
:-)
