I think the python and python/gtk talks will be good but please be
aware of the lack of technical knowledge that I have. (small words
plenty of pictures) Adam like the sound of yours too.  If anyone wants
a guiniepig to see if their talk is too techie I'm your man.

Ade or anyone else how about a talk on setting up a network?  Both
wired and wireless.
