HURD can use Linux drivers via the OSKit interface so hardware support
shouldn't be too bad, certainly not as bad as linux just a couple of
years back.

As a unixlike operating system it shouldn't seem any differnt to linux
on the surface and the HURD hackers listen to bug reports and fix bugs
really quickly.  It's a little like linux in the early days but with
more beards ;-)
