Ahh, NTP. Read Aq's notes on NTP:
http://www.kryogenix.org/days/2004/01/09/ntp
As it happens you won't need them, but I include them
here for future reference. NTP will synchronise your
clock with an Ubuntu time server on boot when your
connection starts.
