Sun could opensource everything they have and give all
their spare cash away to AIDS orphans in Africa and it
still wouldn't be enough to satisfy all their critics.
According to GNU
(http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html) the
CDDL counts as a non-GPL compatable free software
license, putting it in the same catagory as the
Mozilla Public License and the XFree86 license. Sun
seem to think its a generalised version of the MPL.
Does this mean that opensource operating systems now
have more then 50% of the server market? If not it
cant be that far off
