A former employer of mine standardised their desktops on these - can't 
remember what proportion were with/without the "legacy" ports though. 
Ironically, despite having 4 USB ports the only devices that seemed to work 
with them were a keyboard and mouse. We tried and failed to use a USB inkjet 
printer that someone had bought without checking compatibility... after a 
long run-around with Compaq support it seems that locally connected printers 
could only be used via the parallel port.

The operating system... Windows CE .NET (non-upgradable).
