Ah, good point, although Suse are aware of this problem and it is now part of
the install choices as of version 9.2.
I cant remember them all now, but the general gist is correct I think its
something like;
1. Install
2. Install acpi-off
3. Install Text-Only
4. Install safe-mode
I used safe-mode when I loaded Tim's machine for him that PC was throwing a
wobbly too.
