Lexmark are crap for Linux support, if you check the Ubuntu forums there
is information on using the older drivers to make the printers work, but
I haven't had much success with these yet.

The development kit is for people who want to develop their own drivers
for Linux, so if you're a programmer you could give that a whirl, I
can't be bothered to even try though.

Sorry I can't be much more help, I'll let you know if I get any success
though.
