Hi James

SELinux has been in development for quite a while.  Red Hat Fedora Core
includes SELinux by default (it's a collection of tools to allow
granular security controls over your operating environment).

I am part of the SELinux Policy Editor team.  We're trying to make the
system easier for people to use.  It's a project started by Hitachi and
still maintained by one of their engineers.
