Agree, the SSL cert industry is a scam and unfortunately I don't see
that changing any time soon.

Even if cacert do eventually manage to get into mozilla (they have
only been asking for just over 2 years, see
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215243) I have grave
concerns over their ability to survive there: verisign pays their
way out of problems, but cacert will be unable to do this.
