[Wolves] Couple of email (Exim) questions

I'm settng up a back up email server and having difficulty with hostname 
type problems

In the hosts file, should you have

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
192.168.1.2 server.example.com localhost

or
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain server.example.com server
192.168.1.2 localhost

or some other pemutation therein?
