Sorry for the delay replying.  I had to set up the new e-mail account and
couldn't reply 'cos  your posting was stuck  on my  old  account.   Andy's
posting  allows me  to  respond.  Thanks for the suggestion.  Hope we can
encourage someone to do a demo.

I was never sure which version of Jokosher to install or how to
install/configure it.  With no sound on the laptop I left it anyway.
Furthermore, I was looking forward to the talk on Jokosher at Lug Radio Live
(expecting a demo/brief intro.) only to find out it was a talk on how to
configure Jokosher as a text editor!
I was pretty disappointed at the time.  Maybe there was a reason (no sound,
for instance) but still - it was a bit geeky to say the least.

That makes two of us.  As long as I can see what can be done then this will
inspire me to find a distro with the right kernel which works with the sound
on my laptop.  Then I'll have a portable studio.


Anyway, that's what I want for Christmas.  How about you?
