[Wolves] BTfon - Can anyone make any sense of this announcement?

That's pretty much my anger with BT.  Add ot it, if that BT line is
analogue then you can opt to go on a lower tariff.  However, once the
line is digitally enabled you can forget it.  So, you can end up in
the situation where somebody living next door who still has an
analogue line can pay something like £15 per bill with possibly £10 of
that being actual call charges.  Meanwhile, poor beggar next door who
had the line digitised at the exchange doesn't make any calls via BT
but they end up paying about £40 per bill.  Those figures are not
correct by the way, they are merely a representation of what happens.
I think the bills would actually be much more than that :-(

I do agree with that statement.  Hmmm, local councils spring to mind as well.
