Thanks to my Grandfather I learnt that lesson from an early age, its
the "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" philosophy. I have four
bank accounts two building society accounts and a few credit cards.

That's not because I believe any of them likely to go bust more that I
don't trust them so move stuff around regularly.

As above.

Aq has a point with regards 'market confidence' supposedly the UK is
the banking centre of the world so there was no way the Bank of
England or the Government was going to let N. Rock go down the tubes
but what should of happened (IMO) is the banks i.e Barclays, Bank of
Scotland etc, should have been made to come up with a rescue package
after all it was their market place that was under threat.

Arch Linux is an independent i686-optimized community distribution for
intermediate and advanced Linux users. Utilising a Rolling Release
System packages are regularly updated and an ISO release is just a
snapshot to the stable packages at that time. So there's no need for a
fresh install the command 'pacman –Syu' upgrades the whole system.
