I was thinking a similar thing this weekend when one of the speakers
at PyCon UK was saying we needed graphical IDEs to expand the number
of Python programmers, as people currently using Java are not going to
want to use Emacs or Vim. Why do we want to expand the number of
Python programmers? One thing I like about Python as opposed to Java
is there is more signal, less noise.
