- From what I remember, if you use the low bandwidth option on iPlayer it
sends a Real Player Stream. You can get the URL for that and use mplayer
to capture it.

mplayer -noframedrop -dumpfile out.rm -dumpstream rtsp:url/to/file.rm

Then just convert it to WAV and you should be OK...

mplayer audiofile.rm -ao pcm:file=audiofile.wav -vc dummy -vo null

I did this with a couple of shows on Radio 1....

You can also ask the station and they will often be able to give you a
copy of it on a CD.
