you won't crash your computer with python.  I've certainly never
managed it although fullscreen pyOpenGL and pygame games with no way
to exit are interesting :)

I love python but I'm stuff with a mix of C++ and Objective-C now
thanks to the iPhone SDK terms and conditions.  I still prototype in
python just not allowed to code in it or embed the language into apps.
