I've used http://www.laptopsolutions.net/ in the past and they've fixed 
laptops at a fair price.  If you click on the first link on their page, it 
will give some indication of prices and there are some DIY things that you 
might like to try.  If you do DIY and you bust it, don't come crying to me!
