Following on from my recent job hunt post, I have been asked to post
the job spec for my current position. If its of any interest to you

>We are looking for a Technical Consultant/ Administrator to help support our customers and to look after our internal systems. The job will be varied and demanding, as you will >be expected to learn our High Availability product, LifeKeeper, and another Network Monitoring product we support, as well as be responsible for the running, setup and admin of >our Internal Linux and Windows servers and Demo Systems.
>Tasks to include:
>Linux administration:
>                Install/configure Linux servers (Redhat)
>                Network – LAN’s, WAN’s Firewalls, Routers
>                Databases – MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle,
>                Applications – Zimbra (email), Apache (Web Server), Samba (File Server),
>                High Availability and Data Replication – Linux HA, DRBD
>Windows Administration:
>                Install / Configure Windows servers
>                Active Directory install and configure
>                Microsoft Failover Clustering (MSFC)
>                Databases – Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle,
>                Applications – Exchange 2007/2010, ACT
>Virtual Servers – VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM, Oracle Virtual Box
>Network Monitoring based on Nagios
> Pre/Post sales support –
>                Ability to carry out presentations, demos, installation and support for our LifeKeeper and op5 customers.
> The ideal person will have excellent technical and communication skills, and the ability to work on their own, as well as in a small team.
> We will also consider contractors who are willing to work with us on an as-required basis,
