There seems to be a bit of an attempt to pull together the various local information technology communities at birmingham.io.  So far this consists of two things:

- A forum, http://talk.birmingham.io/.
- A blog aggregator, http://planet.birmingham.io/, collecting the blogs of both individuals and businesses.
