Ouch. At least you're running again. I haven't had to play this game in
about 15 years, but yes, once booted into a live CD, remember to mount
your real filesystems and chroot into them before installing grub.
I realise this is for Ubuntu, but something like the following:

No doubt you followed some guides more specific to Fedora.
Well done for recovering, that's a pretty tough situation to be in.
